About the Job
This role is a critical component of the Rain City Capital team and will help us fulfill our commitment to “Make it Happen” by supporting multiple departments. The role is all about providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must to work effectively with the entire office staff as well as a variety of business associates and clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
Be our ambassador on the phone and in person when greeting our clients.
Answer and transfer phone calls to the appropriate department.
Order and stock copy rooms, break rooms and conference rooms with supplies.
Manage, clean, and organize conference rooms, break rooms, and common areas.
Collect, scan, and sort mail between business units.
Receive and handle UPS/Fed Ex packages.
Schedule courier pickup and assist with tracking packages.
Maintain employee anniversaries and birthday calendars.
Assist Executive Admin and Marketing department with event planning & execution.
Assist the Servicing department by taking payments over the phone.
Scan and file documents for various departments as needed.
Provide administrative support to multiple departments as necessary.
Off-site errands as needed.
Skills and Attributes
2+ years of reception, facilities, mail, and general office support
Excellent interpersonal attributes to work closely with our team, our clients, and our vendors
Exceptional planning, time management, and organizational skills
Excellent grammatical, oral communication, writing, spelling, and proofreading skills
Highly intuitive, with the ability to anticipate and support the ever-changing needs of our team and clients
Self-starter – someone who takes initiative
Eager team player
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Willingness to help wherever needed
A sense of humor
Willing to become a public notary
Performance Expectations:
Rain City Capital offers a hybrid work environment, which means employees perform their duties remotely or in person and will be expected to check email, phone, and text messages throughout the day and respond in a timely fashion consistent with a normal company workday. This role must be willing to commute to our local office on a weekly basis 5 days a week. Depending on workload and business activities, there may be an opportunity to work remotely on Fridays.
